We are excited to announce that our winter motocross series will begin January 2024. The first race of the series will be held January 6th-5th at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham, VA. These events will include riders of all ages and varying skill levels.
Lake Sugar Tree Motorsports will be putting on motocross events every Friday & Saturday through the month of January and one additional weekend in February:
- 1/5-1/6
- 1/12-1/13
- 1/19-1/20
- 1/26-1/27
- 2/15-2/16.
All Friday races will begin at 4:00pm and all Saturday races will begin at 11:00am.
Admission will be $15 per day. Tickets will be sold on-site on the day of the event. There will also be two food trucks on-site for the duration of each event.
February 2024
February 16th & 17th
The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham, VA will host Lake Sugar Tree Motorsports for one final indoor motocross event on February 16th & 17th. These events will include riders of all ages and varying skill levels.
The Friday race will begin at 4:00pm and the Saturday race will begin at 11:00am.
Admission will be $15 per day. Tickets will be sold on-site on the day of the event.
There will also be two food trucks on-site for the duration of the event.
February 22nd - 25th
The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham, VA will the Tobacco Road Futurity Cutting Horse Show from February 22nd - 25th to kick off their first show of the year!

February 29th - March 2nd
We are thrilled to announce our 2024 Tractor Pull at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex. The event will be held February 29th - March 2nd from 9:00am - 6:00pm daily.
Tickets will be sold on-site at the event (no online ticket sales) and food will be available for purchase during the event.
Admission:
- $30 weekend pass (covers admission for all three days)
- $12 per day
- Children 6 & under FREE

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! March 8th & 9th is our 13th Annual True Grit Extreme Bull Bash event! The event will include bull riding, mini bull riding, barrel racing, and mutton busting.

Venue doors open at 5:30 each night and the show starts at 7:30!
​
Tickets & Seating:
- Reserved Concourse General - $30.00 (BEST SEATS. Stadium style individually numbered with back and arm rest)

The following options are bleacher style NOT individual seats. We recommend that you arrive early to get premier seating in your section as these bleachers and do not have numbered seats.
- Ringside - $25.00 (UP CLOSE. Gets you up close to action on the Arena Floor)
- General Admission (Section 304-305) - $20.00 (GREAT VALUE. Close to restrooms and exit)
- General Admission: (Section 401) - $15.00 (MOST AFFORDABLE. Located
close to food and vendors)
- Kids 2 and Under Free. However, they MUST SIT ON PARENTS LAP

Limited RESERVED parking is available for prepurchase online for $10
- Mirror tags will be mailed after purchase
Free parking in gravel lot.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- No outside food or drinks.
- CASH IS ENCOURAGED. Many vendors are cash only.
- No ATM available onsite.
- No pets or strollers. CLEAR BAGS ONLY. NO WEAPONS ALLOWED ONSITE.
- You will be required to walk through a metal detector before entering the arena.
- True Grit will also have merchandise available for sale at the event! Everything
is first come first serve, we will not hold anything.
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
- No exchanges, refunds, or transfers.
- Online and in-person credit card ticket sales include a $3 per ticket service fee
for credit transactions.

High School Rodeo
The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex invites you to come watch the top High School rodeo competitors go head to head!
This event will have a $5 wristband charge per day or you can purchase as weekend wristband for $15 that permits you to enjoy all the events throughout the entire weekend!
A food truck will be onsite for the duration of the event!

- 7:00 PM HS Performance (MAIN EVENT)
Saturday:
- 9:00 AM Maverick and Peewee Performance (1st go)
- JH Performance (1st go) will immediately follow the Mavericks Rodeo no sooner than 10:30 a.m.

The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham, VA will be hosting the Tobacco Road Futurity Cutting Horse Show from April 18th - 21st.

Admission is FREE!

Food truck will be on site. Event will be held from 8am - 6pm
April 26th-27th
The Pittsylvania - Caswell Youth Livestock Association will be putting on a youth livestock judging competition. There will be students of all ages present to show their livestock and end the event with a livestock sale!

The VA Walking Racking Horse Owner's Association (VWRHOA) will be hosting their event at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham, Va on May 17th and 18th. The show will run from 6:00pm to 11:00pm each day.

The Virginia Walking Ranking Horse Owner's Associations offers a two day horse show promoting the Walking, Plantation, Racking, Pleasure and Spotted Horses. We offer adult and youth classes! Join us for a family friendly event! Food trucks will be on site.
​
Admission will cost $6.00 per person. Children ages 11 and under can enter free.
​
There will be two food truck for the duration of the event!
May 23rd - 26th

Draft Horse Pull
​
The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex is excited to announce the return of the VA Draft Horse and Mule Pull for 2024!
​
The Barnyard Pull will begin at 3:00pm with the Horse Pull beginning at 5:00pm.
There will be a food truck onsite offering a variety of foods, desserts, and refreshments for the duration of the event! There will also be numerous vendors offering goodies browse and shop.

Join us for the Battle on the Border, a livestock show that promotes the raising, showing and selling of livestock animals by our are youth.
Event starts at 9am on Friday, Aug. 10th. Food truck will be on site. Free admission to the public.
